Excursions
The following are within easy reach of the B&B:
Genoa, about 30 minutes by train, or 20 minutes by motorway.
Cinque Terre, by train or car in 1 hour. Portofino village, by bus, car, boat, or even better on foot.
Portofino Hill, 70 km of foot paths of varying difficulty. Some routes can be travelled by bicycle or horse. San Fruttuoso, by boat or on foot through Portofino Park in 30 minutes. Camogli, by train, car, or bus in 20 minutes.

Genova: «[...] You will find a regal city, with mountains covered by the typical pine trees of Liguria, pompous for humans and the walls of the city, only for the aspect it indicates that she’s the Queen of the sea.»
Closed between mountains and sea, city of art, culture and music. Part of her immense historic center is stated by the UNESCO patrimony of humanity.

Acquario di Genova, The Aquarium of Genoa (in Italian: Acquario di Genova) is the largest aquarium in Italy and the second largest in Europe. Built for Expo 92, the Aquarium of Genoa is an educational, scientific and cultural centre.

Camogli, the town of the thousand sailing ships with it’s distinctive small harbour and it’s colorful houses ten minutes of navigation from Portofino.

S.Fruttuoso, uncontaminated bay with it’s Monastery and Cristo degli Abissi (Christ of the abyss).

Le Cinque Terre, thanks to their geographic characteristic, they’re good part of the turist attractions of Liguria’s coast. The villages are located in a particular landscape made of hills typically made up in land strips, that ends straight into the sea.

From 1997 Portovenere,with the Palmaria Islands, Tino, Tinetto and Cinque Terre are all part of the patrimony of humanity, declared by UNESCO.
